The Club Championship Finals were held on Saturday 13th August 2016 with an appreciative audience enjoying the great play. Lisa Edwards and Michael Graham were the victors in the Mixed Doubles after a great fight by Nicky Taylor and Kenny Wright. Lisa retained her Ladies title in the final against Vicky Size in a very well played match and Michael Graham retained his Mens Single title against Pete Roberts in a hard fought match with some very close rallies. The Ladies Doubles champions Lisa Edwards & Vicky Size accepted their trophy after Mandy Bedson & Fran Brown conceded the finals match due to injury.
Thanks are due to the three great umpires Ann Marie Peterson, Paul Milligan and Mike Hyldon and to all the members who came down to support the finalists.
